The Art of the Handwritten Note

A handwritten note is like dining by candlelight instead of flicking on the lights…

Handwritten notes will add a lot to your life.

You can still use texts or e-mail for daily chores of staying in touch, but for the words that matter, it’s courteous, classy, caring, and civilized to pick up a pen…

Writing by hand makes you you look good on paper and feel good in your heart. Taking the time to sit down, slow down and, put pen to paper tells your reader that they are important to you. Receiving a letter in the mail is a warming tactile experience and that’s before the letter is opened! Looking at your chosen stationery, ink color and, the swirling loops of your script is art. And, the message you penned to the recipient is one that may be revisited, often, throughout the years. A handwritten note is a moment in time captured…

“Corresponding on paper lets you elevate a simple pleasure into an art form. And, art has always survived technology.”

Unsure what to say or how to begin your note?

I created a guide to writing heartfelt notes for every occasion to help you find the words that properly express the feelings in your heart. From apologies to love letters, I am thrilled to help launch your love of letter writing.

With warmth and health,

Emily xx
